 MaybellineI'm bored and I can't sleep so I thought I might as well talk about my favourite make-up brand - Maybelline!  From the first time I started using make-up till now, Maybelline have always been the brand I used. I like how their products are priced right and long lasting, especially their gel liner which I love Love LOVE. Not only is it long-lasting, the brush that comes along with the tube is soft to the touch and is easy to maneuver that even a first-timer wouldn't have problems using it. I would know from experience haha. The texture of it is also very creamy and smooth that when you apply it on, it just slides (or is glide the more appropriate word to use? Lol) over your eyelid. And the most important thing of all, it doesn't smudge at all even after wearing it for the whole day.  In other countries I have noticed it comes in 3 colours - Eggplant, Blackest Black and Charcoal but in Malaysia, there's only two colours - Blackest Black and Brown though I think I've seen Charcoal being sold in certain Guardian and Watson outlets. I mainly use Blackest Black because it complements my eyes and skin tone better. The brown one looks awkward on my skin tone. Another product of theirs that I love to death and can't live without - eyeliner can't even compare in importance- is their mascara. I adore their Volume Express mascara.  It's water-proof and the brush is a comb brush so it's really easy to use and it doesn't clump, at least in my case it doesn't, even when I put on a few coats of it. It holds up the curls really well too.  Maybelline's mineral blushes are also very good. The blush came with a cute fluffy fun-sized brush. I think there were four shades, I can't recall but the one I was using was called Plum something haha. When applied on the cheeks, the little sparkly bits of the blush made my face appeared glowy under the sun. It's really too bad that it's not being sold anymore. I really liked the product. ... Writing this entry just made me realized that I am such a sucky reviewer haha. Whatever. That's it folks. The sandman has finally decided that it's high time to get some sleep. Nighty-night. | |
